Ahhhh we got an apartment, we got an apartment!
I can’t believe it was so easy? No, really, I was expecting it to be a way bigger pain in the ass.
Anyways, it’s such a nice little community up north, there’s trees and grass and flowers… we have a little patio! we have a nice renovated kitchen & bathroom! Ah ah ah ahhh!
Maybe I’ll post pics before we’re done moving in (that’ll be in July).

His excitement and unfettered willingness is almost unbearable to watch.
Hesitancy has almost always been a theme for us, so I guess this isn’t surprising. Still, I have known for 2 years + 1 month, minus a day. I continue to know every minute that passes. I will never stop knowing, and I will never stop remembering that I know. It fills me.
I want to disconnect these ugly parts of me - I wish that were possible.
All I have to do is wait. Nothing more, nothing less - just sit and wait.
I just have to wait. Occupy myself in other things, waiting. Wait, wait, wait for however long the time will end up being. I only have to wait.
Why is that so hard for me?

I think it’s kind of funny how the premiere of the “Save My Soul” music video almost coincides with the very day I wrote it 2 years ago.
It’s also kind of funny how things have come full circle. They always do.

So, this is something that is obvious, but it seems that with the busyness of life, I’d forgotten about it.
For whatever reason, I pulled out my Bible last night, and just started flipping through it, reading whatever my eyes landed on.
Eventually, I decided to go back to the verse that speaks to me the most - 1 Cor. 13.
Aaaaaand…
it spoke to me. I haven’t read any Scripture for awhile (not on my own, anyway), and this verse, once again, smacked me in the face.
If I speak in human and angelic tongues* but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal.a
2And if I have the gift of prophecy and comprehend all mysteries and all knowledge; if I have all faith so as to move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing.b3If I give away everything I own, and if I hand my body over so that I may boast but do not have love, I gain nothing.c

When my life comes to an end, whenever that is, know that it was made richer because of you. I never realized I could find my One so early, but I have - and you have made all the difference.
